Working with English Heritage retail team, Creativity International’s product development team identified new own-label retail opportunities to offer educational craft and activity gifts aimed at children under 11yrs age. Through extensive on-site research together with CI’s background in primary education (KS2 syllabus) – 5 products were developed based on English Heritage’s key site retail themes for 2017-2018 which included Celtic, WW1 + WW2 and Neolithic.
Project packs included – Make a war dog hero sock puppet, Make a hero medal, an Evacuee teddy bear in an evacuee ‘trunk’, complete with ID tag and book, Make a Neolithic tile, Make a Neolithic house for their Stonehenge World Heritage site shop, based on the on-site recreation of a Neolithic village.
